The corner house has been run under the current owners for the past 21 years and consists of 3 buildings. The main building being a converted Victorian house now housing most of the bedrooms and also an airconditioned bar and restaurant. The Chalet annex opposite is a purpose built chalet bungalow and houses a further 8 bedrooms. The 2nd annex is a converted 18th century stable which now houses 2 large family rooms 1 of which can accommodate up to 6 people.

Each bedroom is individually styled and features a direct dial telephone, colour television, central heating and tea and coffee making facilities. Accommodation for children and babies is no problem, cots are available on request.

The hotel has its own restaurant open from 6.30pm to 9.00pm daily. Which serves up fresh vegetables, salads and home-made dishes. A good selection of wines and other beverages are available to complement the food. Room service is also available for all restaurant meals. Hotel guests can relax in the lounge bar for pre-dinner drinks, or enjoy a quiet read of a book or newspaper. Soft colours make this south facing room light and airy in summer and warm and cosy by the fire in winter.

For guests wishing to play golf, the Corner House has preferential arrangements at the nearby Lingfield Golf Club. Guests can also enjoy preferential rates for entry to Lingfield Racecourse on race days.

The Corner House Hotel offers guests a transfer to London Gatwick Airport, and a pick up service from the airport, both available between 06:00 and 24:00. At other times a taxi or mini-bus transfer can easily be arranged. There is a telephone next to the courtesy transport stop at both the North and South terminals of Gatwick Airport. Guests can use this phone to request their pick up upon arrival at the airport. The transfer is chargeable and paid directly to the property.
